China maybe harvesting organs of Uyghurs and other Turkic peoples to treat Chinese coronavirus patients

The Sun, a major UK News outlet, reported that there are growing fears that China is executing Uyghurs, Kazakhs, and other Turkic peoples in East Turkistan and harvesting their organs to treat Chinese coronavirus patients. For decades, the Chinese government has been executing and harvesting the organs of political prisoners inside East Turkistan and even those of Falun Gong practitioners inside China.

Investigative journalist CJ Werleman has claimed there are fears detained Uyghur muslims were “being used as a kill-on-demand emergency backstop for Chinese coronavirus patients”. He wrote that “the fact that the patient had to wait a mere five days for a ‘consenting’ donor to provide a perfect matching set of lungs, raises further questions about the scale and scope of the country’s illegal forced organ harvesting program.”

Thus as representatives of East Turkistan and its people, we call on the international community to speak out against China’s atrocities in East Turkistan and take necessary action to stop these atrocities. We again on the governments across the globe, the UN Security Council, and other international bodies to recognize China’s systematic persecution of Uyghurs, Kazakhs, and other Turkic peoples in East Turkistan as a genocide.
