The Constitution of the East Turkistan Republic’s Government in Exile is the supreme law guiding the East Turkistan Government in Exile. Drafted in 2004 and based on the original 1933 Constitution of the East Turkistan Republic, the document was referred to the East Turkistan Parliament in Exile for approval. This Constitution was adopted by the Parliament on November 22, 2004.

In alignment with the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Constitution guarantees equality before the law and the right to enjoy freedoms for all East Turkistanis. It also delineates a clear separation of powers among the administrative branches, specifically the legislature and the executive.

The Constitution has undergone regular amendments over the years. The most recent update and ratification occurred during a Special Session of the Parliament in Washington, DC, on April 20, 2019.
