East Turkistan Government in Exile Diplomacy & Human Rights Office
The East Turkistan Office in Brussels maintains and develops relations between East Turkistan and Belgium, the EU, and UK.
The East Turkistan Representative Office in Brussels serves as an official representation (de-facto embassy) of the Government in Exile of the Republic of East Turkistan in the EU and Belgium. Its missions include promoting East Turkistani culture, language, and history to European governments, institutions and the European people. The East Turkistan Representative Office in Brussels also raises awareness and advocates for political and human rights for East Turkistan its people.
The Representative is responsible for the direction and work of the representation (de-facto embassy). The representation’s tasks are to present East Turkistan’s positions to the EU, Belgian, and British governments. The representation is also responsible for press and cultural relations. The representative is based at the East Turkistan Representative Office in Brussels but travels regularly throughout the EU and UK.
The East Turkistan Representative Office also also provide services to the East Turkistani community residing in Belgium and the EU as well as East Turkistanis visiting Europe.
Dr. Mamtimin Ala is the Representative to Europe for the East Turkistan Government in Exile. He has been serving in this capacity since October 2021.
