The East Turkistan Government-in-Exile’s Deputy Prime Minister & Acting Foreign Minister, Adil Abbas, called on the UK Government, its Foreign and Home Offices to retract Hikivsion’s invitation to the Security and Policing Trade Fair in the UK. He urged the UK Government to be more active in opposing China’s brutal genocide of Uyghurs and others across East Turkistan. He also called on the UK Foreign Office to remember its diplomatic and trade histories in regards to East Turkistan and recognize East Turkistan as an occupied country.
We urge the #UK Government @GOVUK @UKHomeOffice & @ForeignOffice to retract @HikvisionHQ’s invitation to the Security & Policing trade fair in the UK. #Hikvision is complicit in #China’s brutal campaigns of #genocide & colonization against #Uyghurs & others in #EastTurkistan. https://t.co/dPEA4T0FsA
