These documents are an excerpt from an memorandum written by Conservative British MP William Nunn to the British Foreign Office on the East Turkistan Republic dating back to July 1934. We decided to share this important document as part of preserving the memory and history of the First East Turkistan Republic. The First East Turkistan Republic was a short-lived independent state in East Turkistan and existed from November 12, 1933 to April 16, 1934.
