On the 113th anniversary of Tibet’s Independence Day, the East Turkistan Government in Exile extends its sincere congratulations to the Tibetan nation.

Tibet’s historic declaration of independence stands as a testament to the enduring will of its people to live free and sovereign in their own homeland. Today, as both our nations endure under Chinese occupation, we reaffirm our shared commitment to the fundamental right of decolonization and national self-determination under international law.

As neighboring nations bound by history, geography, and common struggle, East Turkistan stands in steadfast solidarity with Tibet in the pursuit of full independence and restored sovereignty.
